Occasionally a song stands out, like an anthem, like a creed, a song we could listen to and sing everyday as a testament to our faith; a song that is extremely musical, a little up tempo, and would actually be great to teach to children, with some associated body and hand movements. The song “This I Believe” , words and music by Matt Crocker and Ben Fielding (2014, Hillsong Music Publishing, APRA), and sung by the Carmelite Sisters of The Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles, from their album Mercy Rushes In (2016), is just that kind of song.
